Every year the used drip tapes need change and after depreciation, investing to the field of each mu is below 100 Yuan. It can saving water by 50 percent, fertilizer 40%, cost for machinery plough 20 Yuan, improve the utilizing efficiency of land by 5%, and increase the managing capability 3 of 4 times, the decreased cost nearly counteracts investment of the same year. Average increased yield of seed cotton is 50kg, and farmer can get 250 Yuan remarkable benefit.
By the concept of circular economy, Tianye recycles the waste plastics and decreases the cost by 50%, so the price of the drip tape also reduce from 0.2 Yuan to 0.1-0.12Yuan per meter. Hearing of this, general secretary said: “It’s very good, cost is increased and get remarkable benefit by the concept of circular economy. And the key is that farmer get real boon, and they are able to afford it and like to use it.
General secretary also pay attention to the popularization of the drip irrigation technology; vice commander Hu told him 7.5 million mu of area had applied drip irrigation technology in Xinjiang Construction and Production Corp. Board chairman, Mr. Guo reported the popularizing situation of Tianye: There are 1.8 million mu of cotton, of which 90 percent apply under mulch film drip irrigation technology, and get increased yield and benefit from it; there are lots of demonstration applications in over 20 provinces; in Guangxi and Mongolia Tianye drip irrigation technology have spread widely, and now Tianye drip irrigation technology is most widespread technology in the world. National ministries and commissions give strong support to development of Tianye’s under mulch film drip irrigation technology, National Development and Reform Commission (primary State Economic and Trade Commission), Ministry of Finance, State Science and Technology Commissions, etc favor financial support of 60 million Yuan during the project construction and execution. General secretary was satisfied and say“Xinjiang Construction and Production Corp spread the technology very fast and demonstrate to the others.”
General secretary was interested in water-saving drip irrigation very much, for understanding the situation he have been listening to the report for 23 minutes before the Tianye showplace, which is much more longer than the planned 3 minutes. This indicated the concern to Tianye Company and Xinjiang Construction and Production Corp.
